Magnetic Capsule Markerway

FAQ

Which are exclusion criteria for applying the Magnetic Capsule?

— Destinct obesity

— Patients with implants

How significant is the burden of the magnetic field?

The release is initiated by a magnetic impuls of about 10 milliseconds. The field is about half of the amount of a standard MRI-system.

Are there any regulatory implications?

As the capsule can be "manufactured" immediately before application, the requirements for the data to be submitted in the IMPD can be limited.

Does the method require special equipment, rooms, shielding?

The method requires the Magnetic Capsules itself, the 3-D Monitoring-system and the demagnetizer. This equipment works in every clinical environment.

There is no special shielding required.

Is it possible to perform other measurements in parallel, e.g. ECG?

There are no limitations to any other measuring system, except to those that generate strong magnetic fields.
